Thinking gets me in trouble cause I do so much of it :))
I was just thinking about how network marketing SHOULD would, and does when people understand the power and take the right
actions. It's not always like we THINK.
HOW DOES MLM REALLY WORK????????
Many times we THINK we know about HOW MLM SHOULD WORK but Normally does NOT turn out the way we think it should. Too many people think they should jump in the latest and greatest deal, go to bed and work up rich.
WHAT HAPPENS IN REALITY?
IN THE REAL WORLD....of mlm...here is what happens way all to often.
People get excited and SIGN UP. Then, for whatever reason they seem to FREEZE. They analyze, study the comp plan, clean their office, maybe THINK about who they MIGHT talk to, but they never open their mouths. This sit and think and think some more. They feel totally lost and somehow their actions are all related to thinking but no action.
Then they may get BRAVE and talk to one soul, but that person laughs or says no, and it blows them out of the water. So they
procrastinate, or wait some more or whatever. A month or 2 goes buy, and they get discouraged, because they don't see
a check, but never think that the reason they don't is because they did not grow their business by taking the right actions.
OR they sign up because someone promises them that magic spill over and they wait, or they sign up in some deal for FREE that does put a lot of people under them, all for FREE too, and wonder why they are not rich. They never remember you get what you pay for. How much is 100% of zero? Free is nice, but without real live customers and a product they want, and one you can market, free won't pay the bills.
THINK ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS
Whatever business you are in, look around at what you're doing. Are you taking the actions to go out and market your products and tell people about them? GASP......yes if you are building a business you are going to have to have a product you can market to someone and you are going to have to talk to people. Sorry, that's the truth.
Talk to no one = no business. 0 x 100 = 0
If you have NO product, you have NO business. You can want to become rich all day long, but without real live paying customers and a solid product line, you are building a house of cards.
Do you have a product you believe in to market? Do you use it yourself? IF NOT, why not? If it's not good enough for you, why would anyone else want to buy it from you? Does your product have value?
ARE YOU SERIOUS OR PLAYING AROUND?
Learn to take your business seriously and treat it as a business. All too often in our field people sign up, but do not give it any true thought as to why they are signing up or where they want to go with it. THINK - GET SERIOUS!
I think the first 4-5 years I was in the business, I was stubborn and knew I wanted to build a business, but I'm not sure I truly BELIEVED back then. I worked hard, but I made some poor choices and I had to fail and stumble my way thru multiple companies, before I finally got wise enough to make good decisions.
Because I was extremely SHY, I didn't really want to talk to anyone so I looked for these things that promised to do it FOR me, or talk for me or work for me. Ever been there?
I learned the hard way there is NO free lunch, no spillover, no getting rich by jumping in quick. In getting rich quickly - THERE IS NONE.
What you get is BROKE doing it that way.
There IS though, get rich slowly. Find a product and company you believe in, learn to market products, and build. Like building a brick wall, lay a sturdy foundation one block at a time. one by one.
BUILD AWAY!
STOP THINKING ABOUT MONEY...right STOP. Money is the by product of success, learn to think of things that make you successful. Do the right things, and money comes along.
Putting others FIRST and foremost is a great start. Start thinking about what you can do for someone else. Give back to the world, help them, together we can all make a difference, one by one.
Learn to focus on what you want NOT what you don't want.
You become like those you associate WITH and hang out with so look around. Who are you spending time with? What are you spending time doing? Is it getting you where you want to be?
Do you hang out online and chat with a bunch of people or are you spending your online time wisely, building relationships, thinking of others FIRST and building a future with them? Leaders are BUILT not found. How many others are you assisting in becoming leaders?
This business works and it can be the answer to your wildest dreams IF you truly go to work and make it happen. IF you sit around doing nothing, talking to no one, never making a decision, it can also be your biggest failure. It's work, but it's well worth it.
Greenzap made me really THINK and see the potential and look at my own group and business and really SEE with open eyes. Those on my teams that are building a solid business, are those out there taking action to share with others, talk to them, help them and yet not PITCH and SELL. They don't send spam, they don't think they are working cleaning the office, they are out
there sponsoring others, and then working with them, holding their hands and showing them how to copy what they just did.
DUPLICATION is the key. Ask yourself this....what if 1,000 people joined your business over the next month, and did EXACTLY what you did the past week to the letter. Would your business be booming, or would you have 1,000 x 0? Only you can answer that, but it's food for thought.
