While I don't believe in HYPE, I do believe in letting people know that you CAN succeed and build a mlm business to the point of a liveable income. It's very doable if you are willing to stick it out and work hard, take time to learn and do. I don't know why people feel they should be rich over night, or certainly in a few months in mlm. If they are not, they jump to the next deal, try a few and then say MLM does not work.
IF you were going to college, you would spend about 4-6 years, and at the end, you would have a piece of paper and a BIB GILL, having spent a LOT of money. If you really want to do something big time, you might even have to go back another 3 or 4 years for a masters degree. At the end, you get to hunt for a JOB with all the other graduates, and spend years paying back your tuition.
Now WHY do people think building a business, happens over night?
I'm totally amazed when I talk to people that tell me they want to earn $10K per month, and when I ask in what time frame, they say 6-12 months. I ask if they make more than that now in a JOB, and find out they usually make minimum wage or maybe the luckier ones make $10/hr. The kicker, is when I ask them how much time they can spend and they say they can fit in an hour or so a couple nights a week. Hmmmm Even going to college they would be putting in 20 hours or more per week, just to get thru.
Now I ask you, why is it REASONABLE for a person with NO experience, to jump in MLM and in 6 months be a 6 figure earner and even do that in an hour or 2 a day? NOT. It's not realistic, and it won't happen.
What if instead they took 15-20 hours a week for 2-3 years, and spent time developing people skills? Yes PEOPLE skills. In an MLM, you are selling YOURSELF no matter what your product is. You have to learn to work with all sorts of people and fully understand the potential in building a solid network of people willing to work. Once you begin to learn, understand and grow a solid business, the sky is the limit.... but it takes MUCH more than giving it a 2-3 months test.
I've been around this industry now going on 11 years. It took me at least 6 years to begin to understand what I was doing. I have to say a lot of that was my own fault, in not making wise choices. I made poor choices in companies, and also in sponsors. So I failed my way along, but I was much too stubborn to give up, so I kept plodding along.
Today, I'm not that millionaire yet, but I'm becoming comfortable with this lifestyle. I have build multiple income streams. I drive the car I chose to drive, without worrying about if I could afford it. Here is my choice, after trying out dozens of models: I LOVE IT. It is NOT good on gas but really that does not bother me. I walk to my office across the hall and to out when I want to.

Here is a photo of the car I CHOSE to buy. It's a Buick RVD that seats 7, and has all the bells and whistles, drives like a dream and is very comfortable. I looked at other cars but found none that handled and drove better with more comfort, so I bought it. BEFORE this time, I always had to chose a car by price and one that usually cost about 1/3 less. This time I picked the car, and gave my old car away to my kids. Didn't have to trade it or sell it. It was great. I chose the color, I chose the accessories I wanted and I didn't have to settle for less than I wanted.
I travel. I'm making up for lost time. In my life before MLM, I had no time to travel and couldn't afford it if I did. So I went NO place. I did nothing but work. I had barely left the state of Florida. Life was so different.
This year along I've been on 4 trips to different places. You can see some of my photos at http://picturetrail.com/mlmblonde . I'm planning a few more trips this year, and am pretty booked out for the rest of the year. My favorite place of all my travels was Alaska, so we plan to return again next year.
Life is good, and MLM DOES work if you give yourself time to learn and grow. Treat it as a serious business. Don't dabble at it, but work at it. I have developed a good income and I have not put all my eggs in any one basket. Feel free to explore my site, and you will see I'm pretty diversified. If you are new, start with ONE thing, learn to do it well. When you have learned that, then add something that complements it and grow a 2nd income and a 3rd.
Many will say you can't do that, but to that I say WHY NOT? I have and if I can anyone else can to. I learned along the way if ONE person can do something so can another and another. NEVER LET ANYONE TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING. Never give up on your dreams.
Dreams were made to happen. I challenge you to start yours today, and build all your dreams. Just get started and NEVER quit. Give yourself time to learn, and grow, but also be REASONABLE. It works when you do.
